[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 27th, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced the final successful candidates for the 2023 academic year public kindergarten, elementary, and special school teacher candidate selection competitive examination on the Office of Education website, with a total of 376 candidates.
The final successful candidates include 24 kindergarten teachers, 328 elementary school teachers, 10 kindergarten special teachers, and 14 elementary special teachers. They were selected through the second round of exams, including in-depth interviews and teaching demonstrations, from 563 candidates who passed the first round.
The gender ratio of the successful candidates is 24.7% male and 75.3% female. Compared to last year’s 19% male and 81% female, the proportion of males has increased this year.
The successful candidates must submit the registration documents announced on the Office of Education website under ‘Notices/Announcements’ or on the elementary teacher online recruitment site by registered mail to the Teacher Personnel Department of the Office of Education from the 27th until February 1st (postmarked by February 1st at the post office is accepted).
The Busan Office of Education plans to conduct a seven-day job training for newly appointed candidates from February 13th to 21st, and then sequentially appoint them starting March 1st according to the teacher supply and demand plan of the Office of Education.
The final successful candidates for the 2023 academic year Busan public middle (special) school teacher candidate selection competitive examination are scheduled to be announced at 10 a.m. on February 7th.
