91% of Companies in UAE Economic Delegation Confirm "Results Achieved"

Martial Arts, Survey of 65 Companies... "Satisfied with Buyer Acquisition"

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Among the companies in the economic delegation visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with President Yoon Suk-yeol, 90.7% reported "achieving economic outcomes."

On the 27th, the Korea International Trade Association announced the results of the "UAE Economic Delegation Participation Outcomes and Satisfaction Survey." The survey covered 65 out of 101 participating companies.

Responding companies cited "enhanced understanding of the UAE market environment (63.1%)" as their top achievement. This was followed by "securing opportunities to expand exports to the UAE (26.2%)," "attracting investment from the UAE (24.6%)," and "building a UAE network (23.1%)." Particularly, they placed great importance on acquiring new buyers and pioneering export routes.

83.1% of the responding companies stated they plan to pursue follow-up measures for UAE market entry. They intend to undertake concrete efforts to finalize deals, such as proceeding with main contracts and promoting visits from UAE counterparts (23 cases), as well as additional post-marketing activities like supplying samples (17 cases).

The Korea International Trade Association plans to operate the Korea-UAE Economic Cooperation Committee to increase opportunities for exchanges between companies from both countries. They will identify difficulties encountered during transactions and propose solutions to the governments of both sides.
