Dongseo University Receives A Grade for 5 Consecutive Years in Overseas Employment Operating Agency Evaluation

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongseo University was recently selected as an 'A grade,' the highest rating, in the 2021 Overseas Employment Training Project 'K-Move School Operating Institution Evaluation' hosted by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.


The Human Resources Development Service of Korea announced the results of the 2021 overseas employment training course and operating institution evaluation on January 20 on the World Job Plus site.


This evaluation was conducted on a total of 79 operating institutions and 203 training courses that participated in the 2021 overseas employment training project, and among the 79 institutions participating in the 2021 overseas employment training project, 24 institutions received an A grade.


Dongseo University has been selected as an A grade for five consecutive years from 2017 to 2021.

Having promoted the overseas employment project for 19 years since 2004, Dongseo University has dispatched over 1,600 students to more than 20 countries, and was the first university nationwide to be selected as a K-Move School operating institution, currently operating the largest scale K-Move School in the country.


As a result of these achievements, it has received numerous awards including the Minister of Education Award in 2013, Busan Mayor Award in 2014, Minister of Employment and Labor Award in 2015, Prime Minister Award in 2016, Korea Employment Information Service President Award in 2019, and the Presidential Citation in 2021.


Also, as of December 31, 2021, it achieved the number one nationwide ranking in overseas employment according to the Ministry of Education disclosure.


Song Kang-young, Director of the Student Employment Support Office, said, “As a leader in overseas employment, we will continue to actively support students who wish to work abroad so that their dreams can be realized.”
