According to the county on the 26th, a winter season 'Sharing Life, Love Blood Donation' event was held together with the Gwangju-Jeonnam Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross.
This blood donation event was conducted to overcome the blood supply crisis and to spread the culture of blood donation in the local community among public officials and residents.
The campaign, held on the blood donation bus set up at the Hampyeong County Health Center, was participated in by Hampyeong County employees and residents, and was carried out while strictly adhering to personal quarantine rules such as wearing masks and hand sanitizing to prevent COVID-19 infection.
Jung Myung-hee, director of the health center, said, "We thank the residents and staff who participated in blood donation despite the severe cold," and added, "We ask for continuous interest and participation in blood donation that shares life."
Meanwhile, Hampyeong County has been conducting love blood donation events twice a year in the first and second halves at places such as the health center, fire station, and education support office to ensure a stable blood supply.
