[Asia Economy Reporter Han Yeju] LG Electronics is targeting the overseas indoor golf market through its premium commercial projector 'LG ProBeam.'

LG Electronics announced on the 26th that it will participate in the world's largest golf exhibition, 'PGA Show 2023,' held in Orlando, USA, for four days starting on the 24th (local time). This exhibition, held for the 70th time this year, is hosted by the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) of America and features more than 1,000 companies from about 80 countries worldwide showcasing new golf-related technologies and products.

LG Electronics will present a space-customized indoor golf solution in collaboration with KGOLF, a company specializing in screen golf simulator production.

Visitors can enjoy a golf rounding experience in high definition 4K (3840×2160) resolution at the screen golf experience zone created using the 'LG ProBeam Laser 4K.' In the residential zone, reminiscent of indoor spaces in luxury homes, visitors can enjoy not only screen golf but also home cinema on the ultra-large screen of the LG ProBeam.

The LG ProBeam Laser 4K supports 4K UHD resolution on a screen size of up to 300 inches, with brightness equivalent to lighting 5,000 candles simultaneously at 5,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of about 3,000,000:1. It is also equipped with a laser light source that has a longer lifespan than conventional lamps, providing excellent durability.
