Recruitment of Actors to Reenact Eras and Figures Until the 2nd of Next Month

[Gangjin＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] The Gangjin-gun Culture and Tourism Foundation is recruiting actors to participate in the "Time Meeting Joseon (hereinafter referred to as Jomangan) Project" until the 2nd of next month.

According to the county on the 25th, the Jomangan Project, which started in 2019 at the Sa-ui-jae marketplace, is a resident participation-type cultural tourism content inspired by historical figures representing Gangjin, such as Dasan Jeong Yak-yong.

With Sa-ui-jae as the background, there are plans to operate a yard play and re-enactment corner throughout the marketplace, where Gangjin residents themselves will act as actors to welcome tourists.

Anyone aged 14 or older who is a resident of Gangjin-gun can apply by filling out the resume attached to the announcement on the Gangjin-gun Culture and Tourism Foundation website and submitting it via email or by visiting the Culture and Tourism Foundation in person.

After announcing the results of the document screening, final actors for performances and re-enactments will be selected through auditions. Successful candidates will receive training in acting, choreography, cultural interpretation, and customer service through the "Jomangan Project Academy."
