The LIV Golf Invitational Series (LIV Golf), sponsored by the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund, is entering its second year and will kick off the new season next month with a tournament in Mexico.
According to the 2023 season schedule announced by LIV Golf on the 25th, this year’s series opener will be held from February 24 to 26 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Including the opener, there will be a total of 14 tournaments throughout the season. The host countries are seven in total: Mexico, the United States, Australia, Singapore, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia.
In March, two tournaments will take place in the United States: Tucson, Arizona (17?19) and Orlando, Florida (March 31?April 2). In April, the tour will visit Australia (21?23) and Singapore (28?30) for two events, then return to the U.S. for tournaments in Oklahoma (May 12?14) and Washington D.C. (May 26?28). Following that, in June, there will be a tournament in Spain (June 30?July 2), and in July, one in the United Kingdom (July 7?9).
In August, tournaments will be held in West Virginia, U.S. (August 4?6) and Bedminster, New Jersey (August 11?13). September will feature an event in Sugar Grove, Illinois (September 22?24), and October will see a tournament in Miami, Florida (October 20?22). The final event will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from November 3 to 5.
LIV Golf launched last year, holding its first tournament in June and conducting eight series events across four countries. This year, as before, no LIV Series tournaments will be held during the four major championships: The Masters, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open, and The Open Championship.
