LG Electronics Launches Dios 14-Place Dishwasher Capable of Washing 110 Dishes

'Up' Appliances with New Features Added After Purchase

LG Electronics will launch a new 14-place setting Dios Objet Collection dishwasher (right) on the 26th, capable of washing up to 110 dishes at once. The new model has a bottom height of 10cm. Customers can choose between the new model or the previously released 12-place setting model (left) with a bottom height of 15cm, depending on their interior preferences.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] LG Electronics will launch a new 14-place setting Dios Objet Collection dishwasher that can wash up to 110 dishes at once on the 26th.

LG Electronics developed the new product to allow customers to wash more dishes compared to existing models by enlarging the internal cup shelf. The built-in type new product has a height of 10cm from the floor to the bottom of the product. This reflects the trend of more customers installing the 'geolrebat-i' (kickboard) section lower.

The new product is an upgradable appliance that can add new functions even after purchase through the smart home platform LG ThinQ. It continuously provides various upgrades including ▲an energy-saving course that reduces electricity consumption by about 20% compared to the standard course ▲a Night Quiet Plus course that reduces noise by 3 decibels compared to the standard course ▲and washing completion sounds.

The new product will be released in Nature Beige color, the color of the LG Objet Collection, and the price is 2.04 million KRW based on the shipment price. Hyunwook Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Kitchen Solutions Division at LG Electronics H&A Business Division, said, “We will continue to introduce differentiated products that add value to kitchen space while innovatively reducing the hassle of kitchen work.”
