"Lotte Mart Offers Up to 50% Discount in 'Happy Toys R Us Day'"

Discount on Over 1,900 Toy Products Until February 1

Lotte Mart announced on the 24th that it will hold the ‘Happy Toys "R" Us Day’ event at its toy specialty store ‘Toys "R" Us’ until the 1st of next month, offering over 1,900 toy items at up to 50% discounted prices to capture holiday toy demand.

‘Happy Toys "R" Us Day’ is a toy event held only twice a year, coinciding with the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays. During the ‘Happy Toys "R" Us Day’ period, Lotte Mart will sell over 1,900 toy products across all categories?including electronic games, educational toys, and toys for girls and boys such as ‘Nintendo Switch’, ‘LEGO’, and ‘Sylvanian Families’?at discounts of up to 50%.

First, the Nerf brand and Jurassic World brand will be offered at up to 50% discounted prices. Representative products include the ‘Nerf Elite 20 Flip 32’ and ‘Nerf Elite 20 Flip 16’ priced at 39,900 KRW and 29,900 KRW respectively, and the ‘Jurassic World Mini Play Set’ at 13,500 KRW with a 50% discount. The popular product ‘Rescue Tayo Excavator Heavy Equipment Tower Deluxe Set’ will have an exclusive discount event at Toys "R" Us, available at 69,300 KRW, which is 30% cheaper than the regular price.

The globally loved ‘Sylvanian Families’, featuring cute animal dolls, miniature furniture, and buildings, will also be offered with discounts up to 20%. Additionally, consistently popular toys such as ‘Mecard Ball’, ‘Mini Force’, and ‘Super Wings’ will be discounted up to 30%, and 112 LEGO block toy items will be sold at up to 40% off. A promotion will also run where customers purchasing LEGO products worth over 70,000 KRW will receive a 10,000 KRW Lotte gift certificate.

A variety of popular character toys have also been prepared. L.POINT members can purchase the ‘Pok?mon Face Figure Full Set’ with a 10,000 KRW discount at 57,900 KRW, and the ‘Octonauts Popular 8 Items’ will be sold at up to 40% off. The ‘Sanrio Figure Block 5 Types’ and ‘Sanrio House Block 5 Types’ will be offered at 20% off, priced at 9,500 KRW and 22,300 KRW respectively. Furthermore, the representative creative toys ‘Play-Doh 8-Pack’ and ‘Play-Doh Single Can Dough’ will be available in a ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ event, and through the ‘More You Buy, More You Save’ event, purchasing two or more of ‘Play-Doh Syrup Ice Cream and 4 other types’ will grant a 30% discount, and purchasing three or more will grant a 50% discount.

Considering that electronic game sales increased about threefold compared to the previous month during the week following last Lunar New Year, the ‘Nintendo Switch HAD 2 Types’ will be sold at a 20,000 KRW discount for 340,000 KRW. Additionally, 25 popular titles including ‘Switch Kirby’s Dream Discovery’ will be discounted up to 15%, and ‘Switch Pok?mon Scarlet and Violet’ will be offered at a 5,000 KRW discount each. The ‘Sony PlayStation 5’ and ‘Sony PlayStation 5 Disc God of War Bundle’ will be discounted by 30,000 KRW, with an additional 10,000 KRW discount when paying with event cards.
