The district received awards in two categories, the Rookie Award and the Partnership Award, recognizing its contributions to lifelong learning operations.
The Rookie Award is given to new lifelong educators with less than two years of experience. They have been promoting various lifelong learning programs through the Jungnang-gu Lifelong Learning Center and neighborhood learning centers.
Official Song Garam expressed, “It is meaningful to receive such a significant award. I thank the residents of Jungnang-gu for their great interest in the Lifelong Learning Center lectures.” Official Lee Jonsam also said, “I think this award comes with both encouragement and challenge. I will continue to work hard for the development of lifelong learning in Jungnang-gu.”

The Jungnang-gu Developmental Disabilities Lifelong Education Center was the recipient. Designated as a neighborhood learning center in Jungnang-gu, the center operates lifelong learning programs for individuals with severe developmental disabilities who have difficulty with speech and expression, as well as their caregivers.
