The expected snowfall between the 22nd and 23rd is 3 to 8 cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, and less than 1 cm in northern Gyeonggi and central to northern Gangwon Yeongseo. The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -5 and 2 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 2 and 11 degrees Celsius. On the west and east coasts and Jeju Island, winds will be very strong with gusts exceeding 70 km/h (20 m/s), and in Jeju and mountainous areas nationwide, gusts will exceed 90 km/h.

Additionally, roads in areas with rain or snow will be very slippery, and black ice may form on bridges, elevated roads, and tunnel entrances, so safe driving is necessary.
