Completion of Boseong Deukryang National Sports Center

Expansion of Sports Infrastructure with an Investment of 3 Billion Won

[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it held the completion ceremony for the Deukryang-myeon National Sports Center, a long-cherished wish of the residents of Deukryang-myeon.

The completion ceremony was attended by about 200 people, including County Governor Kim Cheol-woo, National Assemblyman Kim Seung-nam, Boseong County Council Chairman Im Yong-min, Provincial Assemblyman Kim Jae-cheol, heads of organizations, and residents.

Boseong-gun held the completion ceremony for the Deukryang-myeon National Sports Center, a long-cherished wish of the residents of Deukryang-myeon, on the 20th.

The National Sports Center, located at 874-26 Obong-ri, Deukryang-myeon, was built with a total floor area of 894㎡, and the project cost 3 billion KRW (1 billion KRW from funds, 2 billion KRW from local government expenses).

The Deukryang-myeon National Sports Center is equipped with a gymnasium, fitness room, and shower facilities, and is expected to be used as a place for residents' leisure activities and community harmony.

Kim Cheol-woo, Governor of Boseong-gun, said, "Since the 7th elected administration, the seeds we have planted are bearing fruit one by one," adding, "The National Sports Center is expected to greatly contribute to improving residents' health and community unity, and we will continue to actively attract SOC projects related to improving living conditions and quality of life."
