Donation Delivery for Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Mokpo National Maritime University (President Han Won-hee) visited Yudal-dong Administrative Welfare Center, KYC Pureun Dream Regional Children's Center, and Jukgyo-dong Administrative Welfare Center on the 19th to deliver donations for practicing neighborly love and sharing.

According to Mokpo National Maritime University on the 20th, this donation delivery was conducted to support the underprivileged in the region and to foster a culture of sharing within the university in celebration of Seollal. Donations totaling 15 million KRW were delivered: 6 million KRW to Yudal-dong Administrative Welfare Center, 3 million KRW to KYC Pureun Dream Regional Children's Center, and 6 million KRW to Jukgyo-dong Administrative Welfare Center.

President Han Won-hee said, "As a member of the local community and a constituent of a region-centered university, we delivered donations to help," adding, "I hope the delivered donations provide even a little comfort and assistance to the underprivileged in the region."

Mokpo National Maritime University annually conducts events such as the 'Love Kimchi-making and Briquette Sharing Event' and the 'Hope Sharing Campaign Fundraising' to promote a culture of donation and practice sharing together with the local community for neighbors in need.
