[Special Stock] Camsys Selected as Preferred Negotiation Partner for Lottery Business... Expected 321.5 Billion KRW Increase Over 5 Years

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Camsys is showing strong performance following news that it has been selected as the preferred negotiator for the lottery consignment business. Analysts also expect approximately 321.5 billion KRW in revenue over five years if selected as the lottery consignment operator.

As of 9:35 AM on the 20th, Camsys is trading at 2,215 KRW, up 4.48% compared to the previous day.

The Ministry of Strategy and Finance's Lottery Committee (hereafter Lottery Committee) has selected the 'Haengbok Lottery' consortium, led by Camsys, as the preferred negotiator for the 5th lottery consignment operator.

The Haengbok Lottery consortium includes a total of 11 companies: Camsys, Megazone, Maxst, Hecto Financial, K-Sign, Rainbow Communication, Saltlux, Metacns, Witech System, OGISoft, and SSL. Among them, Camsys holds the highest stake at 42% and will oversee business operations.

The lottery consignment operator will have exclusive rights to issue, manage, and sell lotteries such as Lotto, Pension Lottery, Instant Lottery, and Electronic Lottery. The consignment fee rate, which varies depending on annual lottery sales, was around 1.0% last year. Considering last year's lottery sales of 6.4292 trillion KRW, the annual revenue for the lottery consignment operator is approximately 64.3 billion KRW. Over the five-year business operation period, this amounts to potential earnings of 321.5 billion KRW.
