Hapcheon-gun Campaign to Foster Integrity in Public Service Atmosphere During Seol Holiday

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam, conducted a campaign titled ‘No Giving or Receiving Holiday Gifts’ at the rotary in front of Hapcheon Samsung Hospital on the 19th in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.

The campaign was organized to create a clean Lunar New Year atmosphere by delivering the ‘Pledge to Practice Integrity by Not Giving or Receiving Holiday Gifts’ to residents and employees on their way to work, with the participation of the county governor and senior officials, thereby drawing interest and participation.

Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam is conducting a campaign to foster an honest public service atmosphere.

County Governor Kim Yoon-cheol, who joined the campaign, said, “The integrity campaign held every year before the holidays serves as an opportunity to inform not only internal staff but also the residents of Hapcheon-gun about the pledge to practice integrity,” adding, “We will continue to promote various policies to build a trustworthy Hapcheon-gun through transparent county administration.”

During the Lunar New Year holiday period, the county sent text messages to all Hapcheon-gun employees to foster an atmosphere of integrity in public service and to prevent drunk driving.

In addition, through focused inspections during periods vulnerable to corruption, the county plans to establish discipline in public service and make every effort to create a county administration trusted by residents by having the public sector take the lead.
