Legoland Donates 2,000 Briquettes to Vulnerable Groups in Chuncheon

Delivery Volunteer Service by Over 50 Employees

Legoland Korea Resort announced on the 19th that it conducted a volunteer activity delivering 2,000 briquettes to residents in Geunhwa-dong, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon Province, to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Legoland donated 2,000 briquettes as its first social contribution activity of the year to support energy-vulnerable groups in the Chuncheon area, and employees personally delivered them the day before. About 50 Legoland employees, including President Lee Soon-kyu, and Jeong Hae-chang, the representative of Chuncheon Briquette Bank, attended the event.

Lee Soon-kyu, President of Legoland Korea Resort, said, "Through this briquette sharing volunteer work, we hope that the vulnerable groups can spend a warm winter during this unusually cold season." He added, "Legoland will continue to help marginalized neighbors in the local community and carry out volunteer activities that can coexist with Chuncheon City."
