LG HelloVision Delivers 'Maeumnanum Package' for Lunar New Year LG HelloVision employees are conducting a dumpling-making experience program with children from the Wonju area to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] LG HelloVision announced on the 19th that it delivered ‘Ma-eum Nanum Packages’ consisting of holiday foods and fruits to children at local community centers in celebration of Seollal.


The ‘Ma-eum Nanum Package’ event took place on the 18th at the Wonju Open Studio, attended by Park Geon-sang, Director of LG HelloVision Gangwon News Bureau; Kim Tae-hoon, Vice Mayor of Wonju City; Kwon Kyung-ja, President of the Wonju City Community Child Center Association; and Song Chi-hoon, CEO of Changemaker. They volunteered to pack the packages, held a delivery ceremony, and participated together in a ‘Dumpling Making’ program for children at local community centers in Wonju.


This activity was organized with the purpose of supporting local small business owners who are struggling due to recent interest rate hikes and economic downturn, and to convey warm hearts to families with children in the region during the holiday season.


It was linked with the local channel commerce ‘Jecheol Jangteo’. All items included in the package, such as rice cake soup rice cakes, Korean beef gomtang packs, gim (seaweed), and apples, were prepared through the Jecheol Jangteo New Year special exhibition. The packages were delivered to 29 local community centers located in Wonju and to the homes of 585 children.


Additionally, about 20 children were invited to the Open Studio. In line with the purpose of promoting local communication and community activation, a Seollal ‘Dumpling Making’ program was held at the Open Studio.
