The January Challenge started on the 13th and will run for 14 days until the 26th.

If participants achieve a maximum of 8,000 steps per day and a cumulative total of 85,000 steps, the first 1,500 people will receive a 10,000 KRW mobile cultural gift certificate as an incentive.

Any Jeongeup citizen can participate in the January Challenge event.

To participate in the Challenge, you must install the 'WalkOn' app from the 'PLAY Store' or 'App Store,' sign up as a member, and join the '1530 Walking Jeongeup' community.

A city official said, "We hope that practicing walking in daily life will help prevent residents' lifestyle-related issues such as obesity, depression, and hypertension," adding, "We will continue to increase citizens' health practice rates through various challenges."
