Yeongyang-gun, Lunar New Year Social Welfare Facility Visits

The facilities visited this time included six locations such as elderly welfare facilities and facilities for the disabled. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, non-face-to-face visits were conducted, delivering fruit sets and daily necessities, along with expressing gratitude to the workers.

In addition to visiting social welfare facilities, Yeongyang-gun identified vulnerable households and welfare blind spots in each eup and myeon, providing holiday consolation money to 700 households (including vulnerable groups and veterans), and through the Community Chest of Korea, distributed holiday consolation money to 514 households, contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing for socially vulnerable groups.
