Ahead of this year's Lunar New Year holiday, convenience stores have been releasing ultra-premium products, and Emart24 sold a foreign car.

According to Emart24 on the 18th, the model sold this time was the 'BMW 520i MSP,' a vehicle worth approximately 67.4 million KRW. The customer who purchased the foreign car was a man in his 30s, and the sale took place in the Seoul area. Currently, an additional four customers are in consultation for purchase.

Emart24 partnered with Carby, the number one online platform for imported car purchases, to sell the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series. When customers make a reservation at the store, a happy call consultant guides them through all purchase procedures from application to product delivery. Customers can choose their preferred payment method from cash, installment, lease, or long-term rental.

Customers purchasing Mercedes-Benz and BMW vehicles can buy at discounted prices provided by Carby, with up to 1 million KRW off for Mercedes-Benz and up to 12 million KRW off for BMW, depending on the specific vehicle model. Additionally, customers who make a reservation at Emart24 receive an extra 500,000 KRW discount, along with tinting, a black box, Hi-Pass, and souvenirs.

An Emart24 representative said, "This is our first time selling imported foreign cars, and despite the high price range, seeing actual sales made us realize that convenience stores are playing a significant role as lifestyle platforms. It seems to have been a great opportunity for customers, combining basic vehicle discounts with additional benefits."
