The Western Fire Station announced on the 17th that since November last year, it has signed a related business agreement with the Gwangju Environment Corporation to prepare for the depletion of water in Juam Dam and Dongbuk Dam, which supply drinking water to the Gwangju area, due to drought.
Chief Moon Hee-jun said, “Through a council with related organizations, we will share progress on drought relief measures between institutions and strive to secure firefighting water by utilizing the second water source of the Gwangju Environment Corporation to ensure there are no setbacks in fire prevention and response.”
