Changwon Seongsan Fire Station Wishes a Speedy Recovery to Injured Firefighter

Fire Development Committee Donates 10 Million Won for Medical Expenses

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] On the morning of the 17th, the Seongsan Fire Station in Changwon, Gyeongnam announced that it delivered a donation for the medical expenses of an injured firefighter at the Fire Development Committee meeting.

This donation was prepared to support the medical expenses of an employee who was seriously injured during on-site activities during Typhoon ‘Hinnamnor’ and is currently undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, the Seongsan Fire Station Fire Development Committee donated 10 million won last December and additionally donated 10 million won with hopes for the speedy recovery of the injured employee.

The Fire Development Committee of Seongsan Fire Station in Changwon, Gyeongnam, is taking a commemorative photo after donating treatment expenses for an injured firefighter on the 17th.

Kim Jeong-hye, Chairperson of the Fire Development Committee, said, “I am grateful to the committee members who actively cooperated in raising the donation, and I hope this will be of some help in the treatment of the injured employee.”

Chief Lee Gil-ha said, “I deeply appreciate the additional donation following last year, and thanks to the warm hearts of the Fire Development Committee, we expect the injured employee to recover quickly.”
