[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] High Vision System announced on the 17th that it has signed a 'Hy-together' business agreement (MOU) with Mobilient, a startup specializing in AI semiconductors (NPU) for edge devices.
Founded in 2019, Mobilient is a startup aggressively conducting research and development to foster growth and activation of the AI industry. It is a fabless startup supplying 'on-device NPUs' that can be utilized across various industries including automotive, robotics, smartphones, and more.
Through the MOU, both companies plan to develop AI semiconductor solution-based automation systems applicable in High Vision System’s business areas and focus on expanding their business base by combining their core competencies.
High Vision System’s collaborative support program, Hy-together, targets small and medium-sized enterprises with technological capabilities in manufacturing and the Fourth Industrial Revolution sectors, as well as startups established within the last seven years. Selected companies can receive up to 200 million KRW in in-kind and marketing support over one year. This program, launched last year, aims to contribute to the growth of each company through win-win cooperation and to revitalize the domestic manufacturing industry base. One of the partner companies is Inteliz, an AI manufacturing innovation solution provider.
Choi Doowon, CEO of High Vision System, stated, “By applying Mobilient’s innovative AI deep learning technology through this MOU, we will strengthen the technological capabilities of both companies and expect to create various business synergies in new business fields.”
