The COVID-19 response situation room and screening clinics will operate normally without reduced hours, and a 24-hour administrative information center phone consultation will be open to provide guidance on medical institutions operating during the holiday, pharmacies that are open, and applications for living support funds.

In particular, health monitoring will be conducted at least once a day for vulnerable groups such as elderly living alone aged 70 and above, including checking health status and medication guidance.

The county is implementing these measures to minimize inconvenience by ensuring that residents and home treatment patients can use 24-hour face-to-face medical institutions, emergency 119 ambulance services, and medical consultation centers even during the holiday.

County Governor Lee Sang-geun said, “I ask everyone to strictly follow personal quarantine rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the Lunar New Year holiday when various gatherings increase,” and added, “We will focus on thorough quarantine and medical response so that residents can have a comfortable holiday.”

Goseong-gun has established a medical response system including one-stop medical institutions during the Lunar New Year holiday, voluntary admission hospitals, oral antiviral prescriptions, and 24-hour emergency room operations, so anyone with symptoms (suspected cases) can receive COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment.
