Geochang-gun "Come to the Anti-Aging Healing Land during the Lunar New Year Holiday"

Normal Operation from the 21st to the 24th

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang County in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land, located in Gajo-myeon, will operate normally without closing for four days from the 21st to the 24th during the Lunar New Year holiday.

In December 2022, the county revised the 'Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land Operation Ordinance' to exclude the Lunar New Year holiday from the closing days in order to provide convenience to visitors and expatriates visiting Geochang County, allowing normal operation during the holiday.

During the Lunar New Year holiday, all facilities within the Anti-Aging Healing Land, including the Y-shaped suspension bridge and accommodation facilities, will be available for use; however, the shuttle bus operating from the Gajo-myeon town center to the Anti-Aging Healing Land parking lot will be suspended.

Additionally, the county plans to organize an on-duty team during the holiday period to conduct emergency duty for managing the Anti-Aging Healing Land parking lot and ensuring the safety of the Y-shaped suspension bridge to prevent accidents among visitors.

County Governor Goo In-mo said, “We ask visitors using the Anti-Aging Healing Land during the holiday to follow personal quarantine rules and use the facilities safely,” adding, “We will continue to make efforts to prevent safety accidents and provide various attractions within the Anti-Aging Healing Land.”

Since its opening, Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land has attracted about 6,800 tourists weekly, including those hiking Wudusan Mountain, viewing the Y-shaped suspension bridge, enjoying forest recreation tourism, and staying at the Forest House. Last year, a total of 356,000 people visited.
