[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Yeongam County has begun seeking measures to eradicate ‘ping-pong civil complaints,’ where departments pass responsibility to each other.
On the 16th, Yeongam County held a meeting at the Nangsansil of Yeongam County Office to discuss cooperation plans to prevent conflicts between departments caused by ping-pong civil complaints and to resolve complaints.
Accordingly, a task force (TF) team for work coordination will be operated to effectively coordinate complex complaints involving two or more departments and various complicated tasks and to ensure prompt resolution.

The work coordination TF team, operated under a jury system, was composed of a total of 25 members, with one Grade 6 team leader recommended from each department except the Council Secretariat.
In particular, when complaints or tasks with unclear jurisdiction arise, the Innovation Strategy Team, the main department, plans to operate by drawing lots for 7 jurors from the jury panel excluding the departments involved in the dispute and convening a meeting.
County Governor Woo Seung-hee stated, “When disputes occur between responsible departments, the residents suffer the greatest inconvenience,” and added, “We will realize innovative administration through fair and prompt complaint handling by the TF team.”
