Haenam-gun Joint Design Team Achieves Significant Effects in Budget Savings and Prompt Execution

Operation of 3 Teams with 14 Facility Staff Members Until Early Next Month

[Haenam＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do is achieving budget savings and rapid execution effects through the operation of a joint design team.

According to the county on the 16th, since the end of November last year until early next month, a joint design team consisting of 14 facility staff members from towns and townships is being operated in 3 teams.

The joint design team is conducting in-house designs for 357 cases and 12.7 billion KRW out of a total of 594 cases and 24.9 billion KRW in resident convenience projects and agricultural production infrastructure in the 2023 main budget.

By project, there are 10 road side ditch cases, 170 farm roads and village alley cases, 165 irrigation and drainage maintenance projects, 3 small stream maintenance projects, and 9 sewage facility maintenance projects, mainly aimed at improving residents' farming convenience and living environment.

Through in-house joint design, it is expected to save 700 million KRW in design service fees and also to accelerate rapid budget execution through early ordering.

To promote early ordering of projects, the county started collecting residents' opinions and surveying from November last year, plans to complete the design by early next month, and is speeding up project promotion with the goal of completion before the farming season in June.
