Former Changnyeong County Governor Han Jeong-woo's 3rd Trial Date Changed to February 2

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Wook] The third trial date for the ‘book incident’ involving former Changnyeong County Governor Han Jeong-woo, which occurred before the local elections last June, has been moved up from March 9 to 2:00 PM on February 2.

The court has designated the third trial as a special session and plans to conduct intensive hearings from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on that day. Witness examinations will be held for 14 individuals, including public officials who have been indicted and are on trial, as well as those who were cleared of charges in this case.

At the second trial held on the 12th, the prosecution requested fines of 1.5 million KRW for public official A and 1 million KRW for civilian B, respectively.
