SF Innovation Signs Business Agreement with Hong Kong Tenwin International Holdings

SF Innovation, the operator of School Food, announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement with Hong Kong's Tenwin International Holdings (CEO Yang Ji-yuan) to enter the global market using K-Food.

Through this business agreement, SF Innovation plans to collaborate with Tenwin International Holdings based on its know-how in franchise development as well as brand operation and expansion. Additionally, it will assist partner companies that sell high-quality food and processed fruit products in Hong Kong and multiple countries to enter the Korean market, and ultimately expand distribution networks by jointly entering overseas markets.

For the past 21 years, SF Innovation has established menu competitiveness through independent recipe development, featuring its flagship brand School Food and steady-seller menu item ‘Mari,’ as well as Korean snacks, Korean cuisine, and Southeast Asian dishes. Leveraging differentiated and unique franchise development and operation know-how such as Bun Cha Ra Boom and Kim Jak-ga's Double Life, the company plans to focus on targeting the global market.

To this end, the two companies will meet again in Korea early next month to discuss specific plans and methods, and aim to produce results starting from the first half of this year.

Founded in January 2003, Tenwin International Holdings produces processed fruit and beverage products packaged in metal cans, plastic cups, glass bottles, and aluminum through both in-house and OEM methods. Its products are exported to numerous countries including Hong Kong, China, Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Recently, as Chinese consumers' health awareness and purchasing power have increased, the sales proportion has also grown.

In July 2015, the company was listed on the Hang Seng stock market in Hong Kong, recognizing its corporate value. In 2017, it received the ‘Linyi Mayor Quality Award’ from the Chinese government alongside well-known listed Chinese companies, exerting significant influence in China.

Lee Sang-yoon, CEO of SF Innovation, said, “Tenwin International Holdings highly values our diverse franchise brand operation experience, industry positioning, and new brand development know-how, making it meaningful to jointly serve as a foothold for F&B business expansion not only in Korea and Asia but also in the global market. We will use this agreement as an opportunity to solidify our unique position in the domestic market and leap forward as a forward base for global dining companies.”
