A total of 1,050 employees working indoors and those wishing to work outdoors participated in this training, sharing 23 types of cases repeatedly pointed out in audits, including fire facility complaints, budget, contracts, and subcontracting.

Before this training, the Fire Headquarters discussed ways to reduce repeatedly pointed out cases through internal meetings and created a training manual containing related laws, work considerations, and repeated audit cases.

The Jeonnam Provincial Fire Audit Officer conducted internal audits of 31 fire stations in the province over the past three years, taking administrative actions including 163 administrative cautions, 184 corrections, 106 improvements, recovery of 126,575,000 KRW, and disciplinary cautions or warnings for 181 personnel.

Yoon Yesim, the Fire Audit Officer, said, “This training was a good opportunity to inform employees of specific audit points,” and added, “We will continue to shift to audits that suggest improvement measures through communication.”
