Aekyung Industrial announced on the 16th that it has launched the hair loss specialist hair brand ‘BLACKFORET’.
BLACKFORET is a hair loss specialist brand that carries the core message of ‘hair loss science for a healthy scalp’ and researches the living environment and proper habits of those experiencing hair loss together with global scalp experts to promote a healthy scalp. The brand name is a compound word combining the English words ‘BLACK’ and ‘FOREST,’ meaning ‘aiming for black and abundant hair.’
At the same time as the brand launch, BLACKFORET released the ‘Frozen Hair Loss Symptom Relief Shampoo,’ which manages scalp heat, one of the causes of scalp condition deterioration.
The new product applies ‘carbonated foam generation technology,’ where the applied shampoo formula transforms into dense microbubbles. This technology lowers the surrounding temperature by vaporizing the liquid, reducing scalp heat, and the dense microbubbles penetrate small scalp pores to provide effective cleansing. Additionally, the contained L-menthol ingredient reduces scalp heat, resulting in a 5.0℃ decrease in scalp temperature immediately after use.
It contains mineral-rich ‘Chojeong carbonated water’ and three hair loss symptom relief ingredients?niacinamide, dexpanthenol, and salicylic acid?as well as biotin and black soybean extract, enabling care for both hair roots and hair at once.
As a functional cosmetic product for hair loss symptom relief, reported to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, it has been confirmed through human application tests that it improves the number of shed hairs after four weeks of use. It also features a mild acidic formula that is comfortable for the scalp and hair.
To allow selection according to individual scalp conditions, it was released in two types: ‘Cool & Deep Clean,’ effective for deep cleansing of scalp sebum and keratin, and ‘Scalp Strengthen & Balance,’ which helps supply moisture and soothe the scalp.
