'Launch of the "Venture Investment Comprehensive Portal" Service'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] A service that comprehensively provides venture investment information, such as venture investor disclosures and matching support with startup and venture companies, has been launched. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Lee Young) and the Korea Venture Capital Association (Chairman Ji Seong-bae) announced that they will operate the 'Venture Investment Comprehensive Portal,' which integrates and links various information systems related to venture investment to provide comprehensive services on a single site starting from the 16th.

Until now, information systems related to venture investment, such as the startup investment company disclosure system, startup planner disclosure system, M&A transaction information network, and investment confirmation issuance system for tax deductions, were operated on individual sites. As a result, users seeking venture investment information or civil service had the inconvenience of having to find each system that provided the desired information and services individually.

From now on, venture investment-related information provided by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and related organizations will be collectively offered through the 'Venture Investment Comprehensive Portal' service. This enables users to obtain information more easily. By providing differentiated information service screens reflecting the interests of different target groups such as the general public, venture investors, and startup and venture companies, each user can quickly and conveniently search for the information they want.

The Venture Investment Comprehensive Portal also offers a detailed search service for matching venture investors with startup and venture companies. Venture investors such as startup investment companies and startup planners can search for startup and venture companies seeking investment by detailed categories such as industry, region, and sales. Startup and venture companies can also find investor status and funds managed by each investor according to major investment industries, operating scale, and investment characteristics.

It also provides visualized statistical services to give an overview of the venture investment market status, as well as educational information operated by various related organizations, and industry job posting and recruitment information. Kim Min-ji, Director of Investment Management and Supervision at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, "Since venture investment-related information was scattered here and there, users had limitations in accessing venture investment information," adding, "From now on, we will support the aggregation of more venture investment-related information through the Venture Investment Comprehensive Portal and provide customized services to users."
