In-Person Event After 3 Years
Inviting Over 260 Partner Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seoyun] The three HD Hyundai shipbuilding companies pledged a new leap forward amid the changing business environment together with their partner companies.
Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, the three HD Hyundai shipbuilding companies, held a New Year's gathering on the 13th at the Ananti Hilton Hotel in Busan, inviting representatives from over 260 partner companies.
Every year at the beginning of the year, the three HD Hyundai shipbuilding companies share and communicate future visions, management status, and market outlooks with their partner companies through the New Year's gathering. Notably, this year marked the resumption of in-person events for the first time in three years since 2020.
Attendees at the New Year's gathering included Han Young-seok, Vice Chairman of Hyundai Heavy Industries; Lee Sang-gyun, President; Kim Hyung-kwan, President of Hyundai Mipo Dockyard; Shin Hyun-dae, President of Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries; as well as Cho Si-young, Chairman of the HD Hyundai Shipbuilding 3 Companies Integrated Partner Council (CEO of Myungjin TSR), Noh Hyun-bang, Chairman of Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Partner Council (CEO of Scana Korea Hydraulic), and Kim Yong-hwan, Chairman of Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Partner Council (CEO of Marinetec).

The participants agreed to unite their strengths based on the spirit of partnership to lay the foundation for a 100-year company and to jointly envision the future through continuous challenges and innovation.
Vice Chairman Han Young-seok emphasized at the event, “As part of mutual growth, we will strengthen practical support for our partner companies,” adding, “Maximizing synergy effects with partner companies based on mutual respect is the way to elevate our competitiveness to the next level.”
At this New Year's gathering, 68 partner companies, including Hi-Air Korea, which achieved outstanding results in quality and technological innovation, were also awarded.
