First 140 Applicants Accepted... 6-Month Health Management Program
[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) is recruiting 140 participants on a first-come, first-served basis for the 2023 Mobile Healthcare Project from the 9th to the 31st of this month.
According to the county on the 13th, the Mobile Healthcare Project is a program that provides non-face-to-face health management services by experts in areas such as health, nutrition, and exercise using a smart band (activity tracker) linked with a smartphone app (APP).

This project offers health management services for six months through a mobile app without restrictions on time and place, receiving positive responses from participants.
Eligible participants are primarily selected from Muan-gun residents aged 19 or older who have one or more health risk factors. Those diagnosed with chronic diseases and taking medication or who participated in 2022 are excluded.
Selected participants undergo three health checkups (initial, mid-term, final) over six months, and a dedicated team consisting of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and exercise specialists monitors their health status via the mobile app to provide customized non-face-to-face health consultations.
Residents wishing to participate in mobile healthcare can apply by phone or visit the Health Promotion Team at the Public Health Center.
Kim Seong-cheol, Director of Health Promotion, said, “Through the Mobile Healthcare Project, we expect to prevent chronic diseases and improve the self-health management ability of local residents, enabling them to practice healthy lifestyle habits.”
