The PALACE 73, the First Luxury Residential Masterpiece in Korea by World-Renowned Architect Richard Meier [The PALACE 73 Concept Art, Provided by The Land]

The PALACE 73, a high-end residential product featuring participation from Richard Meier, an American modern architect and Pritzker Prize laureate often called the Nobel Prize of architecture, is attracting market attention with its unique symbolism as the only one of its kind in Korea, excellent location, and the advantages of a large complex.

Located on the site of the former Sheraton Palace Gangnam in Gangnam, Seoul, The PALACE 73 is Richard Meier's first residential project in Korea. It is expected to become a top-tier luxury large-scale residential complex that matches the value of the location, as it is built on the site of Gangnam's first luxury hotel with a 40-year history.

As the largest luxury residential complex with 73 units, it is planned to include various ultra-luxury community and commercial facilities, ensuring high convenience. Both the interior and exterior will feature abundant natural lighting, white transparency, and sculptural external forms, applying a pure and awe-inspiring aesthetic design. The two white towers' strong symbolism is anticipated to establish a new landmark in Gangnam.

Richard Meier, born in 1934 in New Jersey, USA, who designed The PALACE 73, is regarded as a master in the industry, having won the Pritzker Prize in 1984 as the youngest recipient.

Known as the "architect of white," he enjoys using light to create spaces and white-centered color schemes. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation as a "luxury residential specialist architect" through designs that actively harmonize with the surrounding landscape and incorporate white coloring and soft natural lighting in various high-end residential projects.

Representative residential works include the Smith House in Long Island, USA, and the Douglas House in Michigan. His public architectural works include the Getty Center in Los Angeles (LA), the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, and the Jubilee Church in Rome, Italy.

A sales official stated, "Recently, in the luxury residential market, collaborating with world-renowned architects to realize 'true luxury' has become a trend," adding, "Especially for the Palace Hotel site, the locational advantage considered a golden spot in Gangnam combined with the rarity of Richard Meier's artistic design is expected to attract significant interest from asset owners."
