Meeting with Hanam Town Residents to Share Administrative Operation Plans and Gather Opinions

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Wook] Park Il-ho, mayor of Miryang City, Gyeongnam, visited Hanam-eup Administrative Welfare Center on the 12th and continues his busy steps to find answers on site by spending time communicating with citizens.

Mayor Park, who has consistently carried out field-centered administration to leap forward as the ‘Yeongnam Region Hub City Miryang,’ met directly with the residents of Hanam-eup, the southernmost part of Miryang and the first gateway to the hub city, to share future city administration plans and listen to residents’ opinions.

Park Il-ho, mayor of Miryang City, Gyeongnam, had a conversation session with the residents of Hanam-myeon.

First, the deputy mayor explained the major achievements of 2022, the core projects of 2023, and the main tasks of Hanam-eup itself. The difficulties and suggestions heard on site will be reviewed by the relevant departments and addressed accordingly.

Mayor Park said, “Hanam-eup is the gateway city of Miryang with infinite potential. We are always thinking and researching to complete the ‘Yeongnam Region Hub City Miryang,’ and I believe we found a clue through today’s on-site, practical conversation with you all.” He added, “I promise to continue communication-based administration and proactive, field-centered administration.”

Starting from Muan-myeon on the 10th, Mayor Park plans to tour all eup, myeon, and dong of Miryang City until the 26th, continuing communication with Miryang citizens.
