Ulsan City, Special Traffic Measures for Lunar New Year Holiday... Extended Operation of Connecting Routes

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City announced on the 13th that it will implement special traffic measures for the Lunar New Year holiday period in preparation for increased traffic demand.


The main measures include managing traffic conditions, providing traffic information, and operating a traffic control center from the 21st to the 24th to prepare for various emergency situations.


Five bus routes (127, 307, 401, 527, 1713) connecting the intercity bus terminal and Taehwagang Station will extend their last bus service for four days.


On Lunar New Year's Day, five limousine bus routes (5001 to 5005) serving KTX Ulsan Station will operate two additional late-night services (12:30 AM and 12:55 AM).

Transportation companies will also conduct special training for drivers focusing on safe driving and courteous service.


Overloaded vehicle inspections will be carried out on major routes, and road maintenance and emergency repair teams will be organized and operated.


In preparation for the Lunar New Year holiday, temporary parking and stopping will be allowed for up to two hours in nine sections around eight traditional markets from the 14th to the 24th, for a total of 11 days.


Traffic conditions and bus route information can be checked through the Ulsan Traffic Management Center website, BIT, VMS, and the Ulsan Bus Information app.
