Mayor Hong stated, “We are currently preparing various projects to enhance the competitiveness of traditional markets and make them more convenient for citizens to use,” adding, “This year, we plan to transform the fish market into a place where culture and tourism harmonize through arcade roof repairs and the installation of symbolic sculptures for the fish market.”
He also told citizens visiting the market, “I hope this will be a warm holiday where you visit the traditional markets facing difficulties, purchase quality products at affordable prices, and support the merchants.”
Mayor Hong’s visits to livelihood-related sites for the Lunar New Year will continue until the 20th.
