The social contribution activity 'Dream With Birdie,' jointly organized by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA), SBS, and Mediheal, raised nearly 180 million KRW last year.

According to KLPGA on the 12th, 47 players participated in Dream With Birdie last season, accumulating a total of 53,432,000 KRW. Adding Mediheal's donation of 126,500,000 KRW, the total fund reached 179,932,000 KRW. The collected amount will be donated to World Vision to support youth preparing for independence.

Dream With Birdie is a social contribution program started in 2015 by KLPGA and SBS. Mediheal joined the initiative in 2018.

KLPGA players participating in the program pledge a certain amount per birdie and accumulate funds based on the number of birdies recorded in each round of every tournament. However, overseas tournaments, the Korea Women's Open Golf Championship, and match play events are excluded. Additionally, the second par-3 hole of each tournament is designated as the Dream With Birdie hole, where Mediheal donates an extra 100,000 KRW per birdie recorded on that hole.

The player who donated the most last season was Lee Ga-young (NH Investment & Securities). Lee pledged 20,000 KRW per birdie, accumulating a total of 5,560,000 KRW. Other players who raised over 2,000,000 KRW include Kim Min-ju, Kim Jae-hee, Kim Hee-ji, Park Min-ji, Seo Yeon-jung, Lee So-young, and Choi Ye-bon.

Dream With Birdie began in 2015 with 28 KLPGA players participating and has seen a total of 258 players join over the past eight years to share their hearts. The total funds raised so far amount to 1,033,428,500 KRW.
