EV Suseong's COVID-19 Preventive 'Kobixil' Ranks No.1 on Amazon

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] EV Suseong announced on the 12th that its COVID-19 preventive agent 'Kovixil' has become a bestseller on Walmart's online shopping mall in the United States and ranked first in the newly launched category on Amazon.

Kovixil is a nasal spray verified to have over 99% neutralizing power against all respiratory viruses, including COVID-19 and influenza. Kovixil is developed and produced by Salbasion, an affiliate of EV Suseong, and is the world's first product approved by government agencies as a coronavirus preventive spray.

According to the company, the U.S. government extended the COVID-19 public health emergency on the 11th (local time). It was also explained that 14,000 people have died from influenza in the U.S. this winter, which is about three times higher than last winter.

A company official stated, "Kovixil is currently being sold nationwide in the U.S. through Amazon and Walmart's online and offline stores," adding, "It recently became a bestseller on Walmart's online shopping mall and even experienced a temporary product shortage."

He also added, "Following the U.S., large-scale supply is being promoted in China," and "discussions for supply contracts with companies in various other countries are actively underway."

Meanwhile, EV Suseong will change its trade name to Suseong Salbasion.
