Business Agreement Signed with Shinhan Bank on the 11th … ‘Guro Ttaenggyeoyo’ Scheduled for Launch in Early February
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Guro-gu is taking its first serious step toward promoting the public delivery app ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’.
Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) signed a business agreement with Shinhan Bank on the 11th for the public delivery app ‘Guro Ttaenggyeoyo’.
The district announced on the 12th that it will actively promote the introduction of a public delivery app based on public-private cooperation to support small business owners’ management and reduce residents’ household burdens.
The ‘Guro-type public delivery app (Guro Ttaenggyeoyo)’ combines Seoul’s order delivery service ‘Zero Delivery Union’ with local love gift certificates that apply discounts upon purchase as a payment method.
After considering brokerage fees and market share, Guro-gu selected the delivery app ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ launched by Shinhan Bank and signed a business agreement with the bank at the district office at 3 p.m.
Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu and Bank President Han Yong-gu, who attended the agreement ceremony, discussed future business directions and pledged successful implementation of the project, showcasing a free delivery event by ‘Ttaenggyeoyo’ riders in front of the district office entrance.
According to the agreement, the district will operate the app linked with the Guro Sarang Gift Certificates. It plans to issue delivery-only gift certificates with up to a 15% discount, expected to alleviate household burdens and stimulate consumption amid the high inflation era.
The bank will apply a 2% brokerage fee to affiliated stores within the district listed on the delivery app, reducing the fee burden on small business owners.
‘Guro Ttaenggyeoyo’ is scheduled to launch in early February.
A Guro-gu official said, “This new project is expected to help revitalize the local economy. We will do our best to operate the system in cooperation with Shinhan Bank to benefit both small business owners and consumers.”
