[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] The Department of Clinical Pathology at Daegu Haany University recently achieved a 100% pass rate for all 56 graduating students in the 50th National Clinical Pathologist Examination conducted by the Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute under the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Since the establishment of the Department of Clinical Pathology at Daegu Haany University in 2008, the department has maintained a 100% pass rate for all graduating students every year from the first national exam taken in 2011 through 2022.
The Department of Clinical Pathology operates as an RA expert training institution, offering specialized education programs for RA experts and supporting certification acquisition. It has produced successful candidates for the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCPi) MLS certification exam and conducts short-term overseas training with Japan’s International University of Health and Welfare, establishing an education system aligned with globalization.
The Department of Clinical Pathology at Daegu Haany University aims to cultivate clinical pathology experts who lead the well-being era and work together with the local community. Through specialized education, it strives to nurture professionals equipped with creative problem-solving skills.
Jang Jeong-hyun, head of the Department of Clinical Pathology, stated, “We will make further efforts to strengthen the competencies required for future clinical pathologists and to achieve good results through student-centered, specialized industry-academia-linked education.”
