Cha Seung-won and Kim Kang-woo Join... Crank-in on the 2nd
Director Park Hoon-jung, known for 'New World' (2013) and the 'The Witch' series, has once again cast actor Kim Seon-ho, who was involved in a privacy controversy, in his next project.
According to Ace Maker Movie Works on the 9th, the film 'Tyrant' (directed by Park Hoon-jung) has cast actors Cha Seung-won, Kim Seon-ho, and Kim Kang-woo, and began filming on the 2nd.

'Tyrant' is a film depicting the story of people who gather with different intentions to seize the last sample of the Tyrant program after it disappears due to a delivery accident, leading to a chase among them.
Cha Seung-won plays Im Sang, a former agent tasked with eliminating related forces, serving as the central figure, while Kim Seon-ho portrays Director Choi, who is affiliated with a national agency but has unofficially operated the Tyrant program. Kim Kang-woo takes on the role of Paul, an overseas intelligence agent aiming to dispose of the last sample.
Previously, in October 2021, an online community post accused actor K, who was her ex-boyfriend, of pressuring her to have an abortion. K was identified as Kim Seon-ho, sparking controversy, after which he issued an apology through his agency and suspended his activities.
As a result, Kim Seon-ho withdrew from the variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' and the upcoming films 'Dog Days' and '2 O'Clock Date.' However, director Park Hoon-jung did not change the casting for the film 'The Child,' known as 'Sad Tropical,' and completed filming with Kim Seon-ho. Director Park has chosen Kim Seon-ho again for his next work, 'Tyrant.'
Kim Seon-ho said, "I am happy to work once again on a project by director Park Hoon-jung following 'The Child.'"
