Ediya Coffee Launches 'Ediya Hana Card Freedom'

"Benefits Added Without Performance Conditions"

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Ediya Coffee announced on the 9th that it will launch the co-branded credit card (PLCC) ‘Ediya Hana Card Free+Dom,’ developed in partnership with Hana Card to provide optimized benefits and services to Ediya Members.

The ‘Ediya Hana Card Free+Dom’ is unique in the industry for offering additional benefits without any spending requirements. For one year from the month of issuance, it provides Ediya Members coupons worth 5,000 KRW every month free of charge, with no spending conditions.

Additionally, when paying at Ediya Coffee stores or via the Ediya Members app, users receive a 50% discount on payments made with Hana OneQ Pay and a 20% discount on other payments, up to a monthly limit of 5,000 KRW, all without spending conditions. If the previous month’s spending exceeds 100,000 KRW, users can receive a billing discount up to 10,000 KRW per month.

Moreover, the card includes lifestyle benefits tailored to customers’ daily needs. It offers a 30% discount on subscriptions to online video services (OTT) such as Netflix, Wavve, and TVING, as well as a 5% discount on transportation expenses including buses, subways, and taxis.

The Ediya Hana Card Free+Dom was designed and produced directly by MZ generation employees from Ediya Coffee’s marketing headquarters. It is available in five different plates to suit various preferences, including a ‘lenticular’ card featuring a coffee bean-shaped character image that changes depending on the viewing angle, an eco-friendly ‘Freedom’ card made from recycled plastic, and a card surface that emits a coffee scent.

Applications can be made starting today through the Ediya Coffee and Hana Card websites or apps. A full cashback event on the annual fee of 15,000 KRW will be held for new customers who issue the card by June 30.
