[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Temporary support structures have been installed to prevent further collapse of the 'Dorim Pedestrian Overpass' near Sindorim Station, which sank after six years since its installation.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, announced on the morning of the 7th via Facebook that three temporary support structures were urgently installed at the 'Dorim Pedestrian Overpass' near Sindorim Station, which sank after six years since its construction.
He also explained that traffic blockades were set up upstream and downstream of Dorimcheon Stream to ensure public safety.
Mayor Choi stated, "We will promptly investigate the cause together with experts," and added, "We apologize for the inconvenience caused to commuters."
