Busan Gijang-gun Conducts '2023 New Year Practical Education for Farmers' The scene of practical training for farmers conducted last year at the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) will conduct the "2023 New Year Practical Education for Farmers" four times in total for 240 local farmers from the 11th to the 17th at the 2nd-floor auditorium of the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center Agricultural Academy Hall.


The "Practical Education for Farmers" is a representative educational program of the Agricultural Technology Center held every early year to review last year's achievements and issues and to establish new farming plans.


This education is promoted to contribute to the actual income increase of farmers by inviting experts in each field.


This education will be conducted with common courses such as ▲ New Year farming plan establishment ▲ New farming policies according to internal and external environmental changes ▲ Public payment system ▲ Agricultural new technology pilot projects, and specialized courses such as ▲ Rice ▲ Beekeeping ▲ Floriculture ▲ Healing agriculture. Participants will be provided with necessary farming safety supplies and effective microorganisms (EM) for farming.


Farmers wishing to participate in the education can apply for the relevant courses through the course application section on the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center website or by phone.


Park Mijin, Director of the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center, said, "We have organized a substantial educational program to help farmers, including recent issues, through the New Year Practical Education for Farmers," and urged active participation for the development of Gijang agriculture.
