The Arts Council is a public institution that supports artistic creation and the public's enjoyment of culture and arts under the motto "Excellent art changes life," and carries out tasks to socially spread the value of art. It was founded in 1973 as the Korea Arts Promotion Agency and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, 2023.
Regarding the 50th anniversary commemorative emblem, the Arts Council explained, "The concentric circles drawn using the number 50 and the five brand colors of the Arts Council symbolize the passage of time and emphasize historicity."
The Arts Council plans to introduce the 50th anniversary content through its website and social networking services (SNS) and conduct various events.
