Pushed Victims and Fled, Bystanders Detained
A CEO in his 30s of a tech company located in Silicon Valley, USA, was caught by the police for spying in a women's restroom.
According to the New York Post and others on the 5th (local time), the Mountain View Police Department in California arrested Eduardo Moreno (35), CEO of Sidron, a company developing underwater exploration drones, on the 2nd for committing a sex crime by peeping at a woman using the women's restroom.
Moreno is accused of secretly entering the women's restroom at the bakery chain Parena Bread that morning and looking under the restroom stall at a woman.
When caught in the act, he fled the scene, and when the victim chased him and tried to take a photo, he pushed the victim, took her phone, and escaped.
During his escape, Moreno took off his shirt and threw it, jumped over a fence, was caught by passersby, and handed over to the arriving police.
He is currently detained at the Santa Clara County Jail, and the police are investigating whether there are additional offenses.
Moreno has been serving as CEO of Sidron since 2015 and earned a master's degree from Stanford University in 2016. Sidron was founded by researchers affiliated with Stanford University's 'Robotics AI Laboratory.'
