[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] Mungyeong City, Gyeongbuk Province, opened its own agricultural specialty product shopping mall, ‘Mungyeong Saejae-ui Achim,’ on the 6th and established an integrated platform with the Gyeongbuk agricultural specialty product shopping mall ‘Saiso.’
To celebrate the opening of ‘Mungyeong Saejae-ui Achim,’ a 30% discount is applied uniformly by item from the 6th to the 31st, and new members receive a 5,000 won discount coupon. The discount coupon is issued immediately upon registration and can be used to purchase all products listed in ‘Mungyeong Saejae-ui Achim.’
‘Mungyeong Saejae-ui Achim’ is an independently established agricultural specialty product shopping mall by Mungyeong City to revitalize online sales of agricultural specialty products and improve local farmers’ income. Currently, about 60 farms (businesses) are listed, selling various excellent agricultural specialty products such as Mungyeong’s representative products including apples, omija syrup, Mungyeong Yakdol pork, as well as mushrooms, honey, cabbage, and zucchini.
Through the integrated platform with ‘Saiso,’ operated by Gyeongbuk Province, consumers can use both ‘Saiso’ and ‘Mungyeong Saejae-ui Achim’ simultaneously with a single ID, and listed farms and businesses can manage shopping mall orders and products simultaneously from a single administrator screen.
Mungyeong City expects to contribute to expanding farm sales by linking with large online shopping malls such as 11st and Coupang.
