On the 5th, Guro Police Station arrested a man in his 60s, Mr. A, on charges of hit-and-run causing injury under the Special Act, dangerous driving causing injury, and drunk driving. He was caught in the act and is currently under investigation.
Mr. A is accused of stealing a passenger car that was left with the engine running on a road in Gaebong-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, at around 10:15 PM on December 30 last year, driving it, hitting one pedestrian, and colliding with two other vehicles.
According to the police alcohol test, Mr. A's blood alcohol concentration at the time of the accident was reported to be 0.017%, which is lower than the license suspension level (0.03%).
